"These two series surfaced from brush to canvas intuitively - the FACES OF WOMEN (12"x12" acrylic paintings on (unframed stretched canvas) and WOMEN AT WORK AND PLAY (large unstretched canvas). As I began working on the two series up popped whimsical and fanciful portrayals of female faces and women at work and play. I began to see something in each that I recognized from within my interior. It was as if I was looking from the inside - out - at myself. I prefer to remain less intellectual in the discovery of me and let the journey reveal in a less intrusive manner - my self-portrait."

"The
reality of the horse envisioned through my perception on canvas comes to life
with the basic Elements of Design.
I break the horse down not in spirit but through my vision of these noble
animals expressed in bold colors,
strong-willed circular and triangular shapes, curvaceous and sensuous lines
and space for the imagination to roam freely."
